The OP listing (this deal) says "Indoor/Outdoor Usage: Indoor" so you would think Yes. But then if you search the Mr. Heater Amazon Store for this model # (MH11BFLEX) you come up with a different Amazon product code, at a different price. That one says it has the "Low-Oxygen Safety Shutoff" feature whereas this deal's listing does NOT say that.
None of this makes sense to me, but I'm tending to think this deal listing is probably NOT indoor safe, unless someone can show how that's wrong.

General consensus from the research I've done is that they're safe to use indoors with most recommending at least a CO detector where you will use the heat. However, they do give off a propane/gas smell so YMMV
My electric car uses unbelievably high juice from car battery and I drive hours each night. What can you recommend for heating the car inside? any rechargeable heaters out there?
I think this would be great for tent camping. Especially since tents aren't super ventilated. I had purchased a different mode recently and I am returning it for this. Thankfully I had never opened it.

I have a larger version of this heater and it worked well the time we used it during a power outage. We have all-electric baseboard heat, so there was no other option, really. With that said, I didn't trust it to be indoor safe so I ran it to heat up the one bedroom until it was uncomfortably hot, then removed it. That kept the room warm enough for the night.
I also had a CO detector and it shows 0ppm the whole time. That doesn't mean that it wasn't using up O2, which is just as important to realize. If I needed to run this for longer I'd open a window to refresh the air between runs.

Not indoor friendly tbh! Large burners like this one consume a lot of oxygen and humidity, you will need to supply fresh air❄️ into the space and provide humidifier.

I think it would not be very smart to use this in a car if that's what you had in mind. It could melt the upholstery and the dash. Even if you dress warm, you'll still need the vents to defog the windshield every so often
