Looking for the same answer, I think 16 GB are the minimum requirement nowadays even with Google Chrome office browsing
Check the manual to confirm, but it should be upgradable to 16GB (max with 8GB soldered in).
8GB is fine for light use and Chrome is actually using far less RAM than it previously did these days, with many memory intensive extensions being depreciated and the tab suspension feature they added.
Maybe it have a 2nd slot? Looks like LPDDR5 won't work with a DDR5

What makes you think it's LPDDR?
From what I've seen, they'd be using SODIMM if there's a free slot.
