Edit: Received mine and they're indeed made in Japan.
Ikea comes out to $1.87 each vs. $1.94 on this deal (or less with S&S). But Ikea's is only 750mah vs. this at 850mah.

Last I saw, the Ikea cells were made in Japan. Been pretty happy with the ones from Ikea, but admittedly, I don't run them as hard as some.

This is precisely what I've learned and why I've gone to Ladda. Japan is the only place I trust rechargeable batteries to be made.

This 10 pack AAA eneloop seems to be a new SKU and all of the reviews written this year seem to confirm they're still made in Japan so I'm going to take a gamble.

I looked them up, and the nearest one is over 3.5 hours away. I'm not traveling SEVEN HOURS + fuel + dealing with nonsense in-store just to save seven cents per battery.
Also, aren't the Laddas equivalent to the Panasonic Eneloop Pros (the ones with the black label)?

You're confused. these are from Japan. They will likely drop in price as sales volumes go up against China made items, main price impact will be inflation due to the announcement of more billions in donations to the war effort

I'm pretty sure they were providing a helpful comparison including shipping costs. Maybe I'm wrong and they posted it specifically with you in mind…
