No. Eneloop in the US is only from Japan.
This 10 pack AAA eneloop seems to be a new SKU and all of the reviews written this year seem to confirm they're still made in Japan so I'm going to take a gamble.

Edit: Received mine and they're indeed made in Japan.

Ikea comes out to $1.87 each vs. $1.94 on this deal (or less with S&S). But Ikea's is only 750mah vs. this at 850mah.

Seems like it's been about this price for a while now. Still, less than the other eneloop AAA SKUs I've been tracking. Seem to always need more of these than I have. Thanks.

Did I hear right that the Eneloops of recent years are nicely packaged Chinese cells, not the high quality Japanese ones the reputation was built on?

Last I saw, the Ikea cells were made in Japan. Been pretty happy with the ones from Ikea, but admittedly, I don't run them as hard as some.

This is precisely what I've learned and why I've gone to Ladda. Japan is the only place I trust rechargeable batteries to be made.

Which is great, if you're near one of these so-called "IKEAS".

I looked them up, and the nearest one is over 3.5 hours away. I'm not traveling SEVEN HOURS + fuel + dealing with nonsense in-store just to save seven cents per battery.

I'm showing $18.40 with Sub 'n Save. Also, those Laddas, went to an IKEA for the first time in my life and picked up an 8 pack. As I recall, the AA's are the same price as the AAA's at IKEA. On Amazon, the AA's are typically more expensive. So, this is a great deal (esp with S&S) for genuine Panasonic Eneloops from Amazon in AAA. If you're looking for AA's, though, IKEA Laddas are hard to beat.

Also, aren't the Laddas equivalent to the Panasonic Eneloop Pros (the ones with the black label)?

Unless there was an Amazon Lightning Deal or a promotion, this is the lowest regular price it has been over the years.

Be prepared for massive tariff-related price increases within the next 30 days. Expect everything to get 20%-50% more expensive, at least.

You're confused. these are from Japan. They will likely drop in price as sales volumes go up against China made items, main price impact will be inflation due to the announcement of more billions in donations to the war effort

Everything, even made in USA items, are being increased RIGHT NOW due to the expected tariffs. In short, "we're raising prices because we can."

I'm pretty sure they were providing a helpful comparison including shipping costs. Maybe I'm wrong and they posted it specifically with you in mind…
