According to LG website, this also has USB-C.
Being able to essentially "dock" a laptop, smartphone, tablet, or handheld PC into the monitor and USB hub with peripherals (like keyboard etc) is a game changer.
Otherwise, I was pretty happy with the monitor, even if I did want to exchange it. The correct aspect ratio from my PS5 was preserved (via black bars on the sides) without having to switch a menu function, 1440p mode was not supported but the PS5 video looked great. For PC Productivity use, these ultrawide are fantastic for spreading out three browser windows or a myriad of other apps.

I would be really, really careful to check if it has a USB hub, and/or supports USB-C display input. I got a refurb LG with the same product photos and model number, but the refurb did NOT support USB-C video while the New one did. They had the same model number except I think the refurb had a letter appended onto the end.

Yes, having 2 side by side windows in 1080p would be really cramped, kind of defeats the purpose

Right on. But, not every gamer is part of the PCMR. This being UW, IPS, 1080p and 100Hz (possibly overclockable) could be a decent entry level monitor for gaming. Personally, the PPI and IPS would keep me away from using it for much anything beyond gaming. For me, no way I'd spend this much on it, but for others this monitor would be great.
Especially if you're doing screen sharing and trying to monitor other things it's kinda hard to do that within the same monitor.

I could see a situation where 5-6 different windows open at once would be helpful.
Would 2 of these work well for this?
