got this recently and got hardware v1 of this and not v2

also want to add that wifi backhaul on 6ghz sucks on this in terms of range; u can barely place them 20 feet apart direct line of sight ; any walls or floors will kill the signal to the satellite

I just got this router and set up one in the room as router , another as a node in the hallway within 10 feet between (with one wall) these two routers with 6GHZ as preferred wireless backhaul. So far it is working fine with this setup and I'm getting 300-500Mbps download (my internet max speed is 500Mbps). The advantage with this 2 routers mesh setup is that the strong signal is reaching across all corners of my house. Earlier I had AC 86U router, which was great for 5 years. However, I had to run cable from the room (where the external coaxial connection) to the hallway to get good good signal from the router in the house. Now, I don't have to run a cable to hallway. I hope it keeps up the performance as the price is really good for 2 Asus Mesh Routers after the 30% coupon discount.
