Wrong, it's an LR44 battery. Listed in the product page. Now it's possible that an L33 works in it, but that's not what the manufacturer lists.

Average price for this battery type is about 5 dollars for around 20 of them.

Seems like a good deal otherwise with free ground shipping from the musicians friend site. However, there are almost no quality reviews online for this device.

I'm going to order one for my step son since it's so cheap, but I'm not expecting much.
