Canned tuna is mostly fluid and funky tasting these days
Not mostly - I get about 3.5oz drained from a 5oz can. Still provides a better value than the pouches, even after discounting the water.

This meshes with the ingredient label, which lists water as ingredient #2.

As for funky tasting, I prefer the strong flavor of chunk light to the more expensive canned tuna (which I find to be bland). Also lower in mercury.

How does this S&S scam work? You order things with S&S and then cancel the subscription after it ships?

You get a 15% discount on most items if you have at least 5 separate items in your order. If less than 5 items you only get 5% off. I usually just chase the promotional coupons that give you incentives on your first S&S. I then cancel those that I only want one time after I get the delivery. I save a ton of money doing this. I do keep a few ongoing subscriptions that have fair prices and that I use regularly. The key is to always have five or more items on your order and chase promo coupons when you execute the first orders. Good Luck. Not a scam.

I change all my subscriptions to the max 6-month delivery schedule - and then cancel them a couple of months before the auto renew delivery. It's easier to manage this way - especially when you have over 20 subscriptions each month !

By doing this you will miss out on incentive coupons to reinstate them again. I usually just cancel immediately and watch for new subscription coupons down the road.

Shows $5.48 for me as well, but bumps up to $8.50 ($1.50 S&S discount) on the confirmation page…WTH
