I highly approve of this deal.

Chunk light tuna has a stronger umami fish flavor and less mercury than solid white.

I actually prefer it to the more expensive stuff.

One can will yield about 3.5oz of tuna after the liquid is drained out.

Not a Chunk to be found. Got the 48 deal, and it was all mush. Threads of mashed fish mush floating in a sea of salty sea.

So weird. It's $6.80 for me as an instant buy but in the shopping cart it jumps to $10 and I cannot get it for $6.80. I even choose Amazon as the seller for $6.80 yet the cart shows $10.

edit: now the page shows $10 too. Must have been viewing a cached screen.

Children between one and three years old should have only two ounces of canned light tuna per week. Those aged 4-7 can safely have four ounces, children 8-10 can have six ounces, and those 11 and up can have up to eight ounces.

10 count is back to 5.48 after 15% subscribe and save for me

at 1/10 Friday 9am EST

but if I remember correctly I stopped buying chicken of the sea as the can contents were sketchy, like remnants off the factory floor and not even soft like bumblebee but hard little chunks, nasty

that was years ago though so who knows anymore

55 cents is not hot either but in a month when everything is double the price maybe

That's what happens when you buy low quality tuna.

$9.80 for me too. Maybe it was a pricing error?

Good point! Unfortunately, tuna grown in the ocean is low quality. ALL of it. The ocean is a cesspool full of lead, mercury, PCBs, etc. And tuna are massive bioaccumulators. As it turns out this "Light," poor quality, tuna is actually the better choice, compared to Albacore which has even higher levels of toxins.
