Believe this is the lowest price, ever - and nobody else has a stubby 3/8" inch 6 point chromed set like this at this low of a price. I checked Harbor Freight and couldn't even find a non-ICON 6 point 3/8" set -- let alone one in stubby. Compare this to the Gearwrench stubby set [amazon.com] at $48.82 on Amazon. The Casoman looks almost like a copy of the Apex Group Gearwrench set (down to the plastic rail). I actually own both sets, and they are close to identical - but the Casoman set is actually even stubbier than the GW set (they are extremely compact for 3/8" sockets). One difference is that the Casoman are made in China and Apex's GW is made in Taiwan and only have a 1 yr warranty, vs the GW's Lifetime warranty.

About this item

I have bought casoman sockets that were not finished (no chamfer) and didn't fit on my ratchets.
I'll spend a couple bucks more to get better quality control from other brands

Casoman appears to rebrand sockets as there are similar versions of this socket set (at higher prices). So, I'm not sure what set you ordered that was missing the chamfering, but I can tell you from first hand experience, the finish on these is top notch. I haven't had a chance to use them, yet, but I went down to my garage and grabbed the set and placed one on my Snap On 3/8" ratchet for some perspective. See below - and note, that's a 19mm (lug nut sized socket) on the end of that ratchet.

They look a lot like Gearwrench sockets.

That was the same set that didn't have the chamfering. I also had the 1/4" socket master set (which looked exactly like the last generation Tekton set) but that was the one that had the wrong sizes
Amazon refunded me for both purchases
if you order them, just check them all out before you put them away

A lot of stubby sets don't have chamfer by choice. A lot of folks brag about no-chamfer sockets all the time.
