Probably because it's not taking the extra 25% off at checkout and there is no code for said discount

For example: There is a pair of red and blue Helly Hansen Swim trunks that are currently the same price as they were this past summer. So, without the extra 25 percent, there's no deal, let alone slick.. also, The Stance line of socks are the same price as they were before Christmas

Yes, the discount is included in the price. No REI Co-op membership or promo code needed.

The shoes in particular are slick IMO. For example, the Altra Men's Outroad 2 Trail Running shoes are $63.73 on sale at REI and $98 on sale at Altra [altrarunning.com].

I'm looking through the list of items, and one item is 21% off MSRP. I don't see any additional 25% off in the cart or at checkout. So, I'm kind of doubting there is any extra 25% off. Try again REI.
