How is this a deal when M4 PRO with 24GB RAM was available for a couple of dollars not too long ago? It's going to come back again soon I'm sure.

Also, the base model with 512GB has been $1399. Paying $200+ just to get double the storage is unreasonable.

Well, without a time machine available to us, isn't this the best current price?

This is not a "best price for now" app as far as I known. If you just want best current price you go to google it. It's far from a deal, as the $1399 and $1699 deal pop up every once a while

For some people, paying an extra $230 for an extra 512GB of ONBOARD storage is necessary as they cannot carry around external drives. Likewise, some people prefer double the storage instead of 50% more RAM and the Pro chip. This is a deal for specific people that require this type of configuration on their personal laptop.

ugh try 2TB maybe, I don't know anyone who would think 512GB is insufficient while 1TB is a lot. The sale price for the base model was reasonable and made the fake pro line less of a failure, but any upgrade on top of it is wasting sand.

Do you have a link to the M4 PRO deal you are referring to?

Well I suppose it's more dependent on how people use the app. If they are interested in purchasing a product today and want the best price, they may start here.

But I suppose if they're poking around for a deal on something, this price may not lure them in.
