The Samsung HW-Q600C/Q60CC is better than the Samsung HW-Q60C/Q6CC, especially for height content like Dolby Atmos. The Q600C has two up-firing channels, so it doesn't have to downmix Atmos content into stereo like the Q60C. The resulting sound is more clear and life-like. The Q600C has a better stereo soundstage, too.
Hard to find but just bought an hw-q800c 5.1.2 open box from Best Buy for $249. Much better sound quality. Paired with the 9500 rears ($99 open box) for an amazing 7.1.4 setup under $350.

Hard to find but just bought an hw-q800c 5.1.3 open box from Best Buy for $249. Much better sound quality. Paired with the 9500 rears ($99 open box) for an amazing 7.1.2 setup under $350.
Technically, this setup is the optimal configuration as all available Dolby Atmos and DTS:X media are mainly incoded in 7.1.4. This means the bar will output the sound as intended without the need for extra processing

Hard to find is right on the Q800C. Open boxes are usually only marked down 10 to at the most percent. Love to know how you pulled that off.

This by itself against the 550 I think wins out, as it has subwoofer. I just bought the 12" Klipsch for $99 at Costco though, and paired it with the 550. It's really good. Have been considering moving that to the living room instead of the Samsung, but the Q600C bar is just too big for the dresser my soundbar sits on. The 550 is perfect for that space.
For $300 I'd probably go with that setup over $250 for this. The one downside I think with this bar is the small sub. It's not bad at all, but I think a true (larger) sub is always going to be better overall. The one upside is the Samsung rears can be had for $100 as opposed to the rears for the Bose running $250-$300 used.
