Wow. That bad? Otherwise great specs.
Yes and they won't cover it under their "
So called "warranty" so caveat emptor
I guess I've been pretty lucky with my T14s. Been 2.5 years and haven't had any issues with the hinge.
The hinge issue is only for the 2in1 laptops
What makes you say that? Did you experience it on this model?
Can you elaborate? Thinkpad T and P series are supposed to be rock solid.

No it's not just on the 2 in 1 laptops.
Yeah these newer thinkpads aren't anything like they used to be. Their older classic ones were built like tanks. Not anymore. Their hinges are the weak point.

Breaking of hinges is mainly confined to their 2-in-1s and the lower end ThinkPads but even that's rare and only happens if you are rough with it.
The P series is among the better built ThinkPad series and breaking of hinges is very rare if not unheard of. You can read the previous threads as this is posted very often and hardly anyone complained about this.
I see for this build, new 64gb version plus 3k oled can be had for $300, on ebay. Then the 3k oled upgrade alone could be only $100 which is obvious very cheap and easy to jump into. I think it is definitely more than great.
I would like to know what is a great price for the upgrade over an FHD ips screen on other builds.

These have good screens, perform great, and have pretty decent battery life.

Returned mine. Probably being resold as refurbished. Battery life wasn't that great and wasn't fond of the AMD processor
