If you can, I would wait for another sale on the M80D. It's $399 now, not sure if you can get some coupons to bring the price down.

I have the 1080p version and agree that the speakers are meh but my only frustration with it is that it doesn't have an aux port/optical audio/etc.

I have 3-32inch 4k (older model). Really happy with screen resolution but its pain to turn them on and off considering there are 3 remotes and they interfere with each other. It gets really annoying sometime when one remote turns the other off. otherwise great buy for the price.

This really only has 3 reviews on the Samsung site and it's 1-2 stars. All others were incentivized.

I have this same monitor bought for around the same price ~6 months ago. I used it for my Xbox X. However I recently upgraded to the 32 inch version for a very similar price around black friday. Use it for the same purpose but the 32 inch one has 2 HDMI ports and also bluetooth so can use wireless headphones for better sound (not sure if the current deal has bluetooth but assume it does).

So they function as smart TVs with no display port and no built in function to turn on with a PC? That's seems ridiculous
