If I didn't get a great deal on a 12" Hercules from Harbor Freight that I believe is comparable to this, I would have went with this.

The $800+ original price is a bit ridiculous. I don't think I've ever actually seen this priced at $800+. Lowes site says $599.

What are the odds? I was just going to get this miter today at Home Depot for 399 without the stand. Thanks !! Btw anyone is able to do store pick up? It is not allowing me because the stand is not available for store pick up.

Lowe's doesn't do this like HD does, they will either offer you nothing for the return of just the stand or tell you they can only return it all as one

No it has not. It has been on sale a few times at the price from various retailers, including Acme Tools, but it has not been at the same price every day since October.
