It has very good reviews. Is it better than Samsung?

the screen is only 14" tall... this monitor is essentially the same as having two 24" monitors next to each other. having 4k res on a 24" screen is silly imho.

you can't honestly be asking if this walmart store brand monitor is better than Samsung.... is walmart store brand soda better than Coke?

some people probably think so, but by and large the answer will be no. if cost is a major factor, this might be worth looking at though. personally, I'm not a fan of curved monitors and would rather save the money by having 2x flat monitors next to each other for essentially the same screen real estate.

Close. At 49", it's the same size as those 49" 5120x1440 higher res super ultrawide, which is equivalent to having two 27" 1440p next to each other. So this monitor is two 27" 1080p.

I have a similar 49" monitor that is 1440p. While 4k is ridiculous, i almost feel like 1080p is equally ridiculous. I'd say if someone can't afford a 1440p 49" a smaller 1440p would provide a better experience than this.

Save up and extra 400$ and wait for a samsung/lg deal on a 4k monitor. Pretty crazy to drop 500$ on a 1080p monitor in 2025 imo. If for some reason ur ok with 1080p res 👍 enjoy but i do not understand that.

This will look horrible at that resolution. And it's a crappy brand. I say this to help those who want quality and not just a low price. While gaming it won't be great while browsing you will see that the resolution will bother most.

Yeah this is a ridiculous monitor. You could get an LG 32" IPS 4K screen with twice the resolution and at about 1/2 to 2/3 the price.

As someone who has been looking at monitors, this has been this price for a bit. So it's deal manipulation pricing. No hate to the OP though.
