I don't think the price ever changed - I watched it for a couple weeks before picking one up last week.

About the only downside is that it doesn't have a fingerprint reader or touchscreen, but it's a bright OLED panel, has a 10key and larger battery (with a 90w charger.)

It also doesn't have a discrete GPU which I think is actually a plus as it'll get better battery life and the 3050 or 4050 aren't needed for Office/Web stuff (and their gaming performance is lousy anyway.)

Haven't really done battery tests yet, but overall performance has been fine setting up Office/Chrome etc. Yes, 16gb soldered ram is a weakness but should be good for general productivity for the next few years. 1TB storage is good, and it's pcie4 speed.
I would reach back out to them because Walmart is listed on their very own "Where to buy" link:

If it had 32GB of ram, I'd get it. I think 32GB is about to become standard.

This laptop replaces the right side Ctrl button for a dedicated Co-pilot/AI button. I owned it for a little while and I couldn't deal with that design choice. so I returned it. I'm sure there is a software work-around, but I don't like design choices bringing more work for the end user, so I decided not to support this product.

I bought this last month, great laptop specs for price, but wished the 16gb Ram was 32gb. When setting up PC, I bypass the MS account requirement during setup up and am using local account. I was surprise by the little bloat, just uninstalled the MS office, onedrive, and Mcfee? I ran O&O ShutUp10++ to turn off all those MS spy tools and co-pilot and deferr drivers upgrades after reading comments of Windows 11 update messing up the audio in previous thread or in the reviews. So then I upgrade drivers in the Asus app. Also, you can change the keyboard RBG LED in the Personalized settings, no need 3rd party Asus app. Trackpad is big. The laptop is light 3lb. This has dual fans, sucks air from bottom and outflow to the backvents away in the direction behind the screen. The Asus app you can manually change the quiet mode, standard, cooling, (loud), or max (loudest). Battery life is good, also turn on battery protect to limit to 80%, there is an option to full charge to 100% and it still go back to 80% the next day.

I bought this laptop last month. Overall, good specs for the price. Screen is gorgeous but glossy, so you see lots of reflection which is annoying. The major issue with this laptop is warranty. ASUS app shows just three month warranty even though it's a brand new. When asked ASUS customer support, they said Walmart is Unauthorized Reseller and hence gets only 3 months warranty.

This is a requirement of Windows Copilot PCs.

Guess I won't be buying another windows laptop until they bring back the right Ctrl button, then. Bought my first laptop in 35 years in 2024, I can live another 35 years without buying another.

Lenovo were shipping their most expensive Thinkpads with the fn button instead of the left ctrl. It's no big deal

Picked this up, it is a nice display. I dont know if the lack of Co-Pilot plus will make a difference or I will actually need it. I can always use the super duper copilot button.
