The 200 nits rating may be with 100% white screen and 450 nits is with minimum white on the screen. OLED's get dimmer the more white there is. The peak 1000 nits is HDR and where only certain areas of the screen need extreme bright (like in movies).

also HDMI 2.0 might be a problem, in future devices.

Can't DisplayPort cover? Also, this is a 1440p display, not 4k. Should be fine, right?

Fine with DP yes.

HDMI 2.0 would be fine for consoles at 120Hz.

up to you , most people would argue keep the samsung since it's a newer gen qd-oled and chances are this pixio is a first gen w-oled. I personally own an asus pg27aqdm which should use the same panel as this pixio and I love it except for the vrr flicker which is manageable but noticing

HDMI 2.0 can't do VRR for consoles if you happen to want to hook up a PS5 or XSX. That's a deal breaker for me, as I have a PS5 hooked up to my OLED computer monitor with a HDMI 2.1 connection.

Display port can do 1440p 240hz so you are covered. HDMI can do 1440p and 120hz for consoles. No reason to have hdmi 2.1 really

I know that. However, it in the future generation of consoles/laptops you MIGHT need HDMI 2.1 .
