This TV is currently in testing via RTINGS and their review of it probably won't be out for a month or so.

"it's a great tv, pure and simple.... I'm going to recommend it to so many people this year. " is the tldr
Even though the Qm6k just came out, Qm7 is still the better deal with 55" at $480 and 65" at $686. IMHO

Anyone know if this has Picture in Picture or a variation of it? Just amazes me how TV's over 20 years ago had this feature on 32" displays yet now its impossible to find unless you go to the really expensive and high end samsungs....

Almost no one uses that feature. It's not usually worth putting in a TV.

I'm also curious how this is better than the QM7 besides being a year newer?

Also do we think this will drive down the cost of the QM7?

If this follows previous tcl pattern, I doubt you are going to see the qm7 get much (if any) lower than the 55" at $480. They have been clearing that qm7 inventory out for the qm7k that just released today.

Look for Tech Steve's channel on YouTube. He compares them side by side

Really sucks. Would hope to see a BF price since there's a new release but I think they stagger these prices intentionally so not to cannibalize other models.

Anyone who watches sporting events does, and now with displays well over 120" it would be even better. Watching two, three, or four football games at the same time. Or playing a console game while watching a game. A lot of use case scenarios but now that feature has nearly disappeared or only shows up in the highest end models.

TCL lies about using Quantum Dots in their TVs. There are class action lawsuits going on right now. You cannot trust their product. They are scammers. Google It.

Again it's just because of the QD6 and no other model
