Note, TV show/series are not Movies Anywhere (MA) compatible. About Pushing Daisies:
  • PUSHING DAISIES follows Ned, a young man who can return the dead briefly back to life with a touch. Ned puts his ability to good use as a pie maker - by touching dead fruit and making it ripe again. He also works with a private investigator to crack murder cases by resurrecting the victims. But the plot thickens when Ned brings his childhood sweetheart back from the dead - and keeps her alive.
About Nancy Drew:
  • Nancy Drew is a brilliant teenage detective whose sense of self had come from solving mysteries in her hometown of Horseshoe Bay, Maine - until her mother's untimely death derails Nancy's college plans. Devastated by her mother's passing, Nancy swears off crime-solving while crossing off the days until she can re-apply to college. But when a socialite is murdered, Nancy finds herself a prime suspect in the crime.

Pushing Daisies still ranks among one of my all-time favorite shows. It's brilliantly written and an absolute delight to watch.
Another vote for Pushing Daises. The first season is as close to perfect TV as there is. Quirky, fun, thought provoking and emotional. Not everyone's cup of tea probably but def worth a watch to see something we may never see again.
Plus, PIE.
Yeah, they refunded it and let me repurchase

Same. Absolutely love this show! The characters, the tone, and the dark humor are wonderful. Shame it ended so soon.

If you have not watched it, you may be able to get a refund (and then re-buy it). I can't recall the cutoff for that, perhaps 30 days? Maybe less. You can try the chat or calling. They'll ask for info such as the last 3 purchases on your account to verify it is you.

I had forgot about this show. And yes, it is a favorite of mine, also.

A Bryan Fuller show! Check out Hannibal for more of his excellent work.

A bit of both? Creative Unrest, Fuller getting famous, strikes, stars and director unavailability and over production all contributed to the end. Tragic. It ended though, so there is a conclusion, not just an abrupt drop.

Warning though for those that don't know; these shows are NOTHING alike in subject matter!
One is a flowery fantasy with hints of death and the other is a crime procedural with cannibalism. EEK!EEK!EEK!

Pushing Daisies was a fun watch. If I recall correctly, it was one of the ones that ended up getting killed off due to the writers strike.

Yep, I will never forgive the writer's guild for this. Normally, I would be in favor of them getting what they deserve, but causing the death of the show means they only deserve a special spot in hell.
