I absolutely hate mail-in rebates. Retailers really have to stop with this anti-consumer, (quasi)-scam practice.
Tried mail in rebate couple times. they always told me I sent the wrong bar code. 1000% scam. Slick deal should remove everything with mail in rebate.

Thanks for posting this OP Smilie .. it could be just me but re one of the rebates relying on a review.. it's good in theory, the strange thing is newegg never publishes my reviews - like ever Stick Out Tongue (whereupon I have no problem getting my reviews posted on amazon).. I'm not sure if it's a "just me" problem but if not you might not be able to get that $10 rebate they mention for posting a review.

This isn't one of the few x870 boards I would buy. I want nothing sharing lanes with the PCIe Gen 5 x16 slot (GPU), which this board does if you use even one of the m.2 slots, then it drops to x8. Pass.

Is it a real problem? the difference is 1-4% between gen 5 and 3 for a 5090z gen 5 x8 is equal to gen 4 x16, there is basically 0% impact.
