Yes, if you are a gamer 9800x3d is generally better. I game in 4K so open to trying Intel this time especially for the price. There are better motherboards available for Intel too, especially if you are building in itx (e.g Asrock nova z890i)

Shame Civ 7 is kind of a flop at the moment but I imagine they'll make it better within a year or two.
The games for the Asus mobo appear to just be steam code, so those are likely resellable..

After going to the one in Miami, holy shit I'm in love. Its just reminds me of an old school computer store and its mind boggling this isn't nationwide in every major city. I live about 3 hours away and will be now making trips to Miami just for this store.
