This is pretty incredible. There was a combo earlier this year that got this saw to ~275 with buy more save more but I ended up getting the corded Makita. Honestly this may be the better deal. The batteries are so clutch.

anybody know which tracks are compatible with milwaukee track saw. I know there are a few but i forget there are certain ones that make it so you lose the anti tipping feature or bevel cut feature.

I bought this in the previous deal a month or so ago. Overall, I am happy, plenty of power and well made tool.

Had to buy Wen 110 inch tracks that are a perfect match and even the anti tip feature works with them.

If I am looking at this right, the batteries are XC which are great but there are more "modern/updated" ones out there. Any of the Milwaukee folks can pitch in with that info.

This is my only Milwaukee tool so far, so it doesn't make much difference.

The XC are the original higher output (extended capacity) batteries that most still use. The Forge is the newer "updated" model that is meant to be an upgrade for the HD 12.0Ah batteries, with higher output, efficiency and faster charging. I have one Forge, which is great for certain tools, but the XC 6.0 or 8.0 are still what I use on a daily basis for a majority of the tools that don't require the newer Forge (like the 16" Fuel Chainsaw for example, which ripped through my 6.0).

I cannot believe how insane this deal is on arguably the best track saw there is. Get some WEN tracks and you are set.

Tempting, but I only have Makita so I'm not sure I need this...

I have a hard time deciding if a track saw seems worth it.

It's befuddling that they continue to make the 6.0 and the 8.0 in HO form all these years after the release of the first high output battery lineup finally came out with 21700 cells that were in fairness they were in high demand, pun intended, in the beginning even being referred to "Tesla cells" and just had a supply limited market at launch

Anyway so it made sense to me to have the 6.0 & the 8.0 with slightly different attributes that 99% of ppl will never notice, aside from the capacity/watt hours of the pack…but I assumed the true reason to have 2 different packs using the same physical size shell with minimally different capacities and using different cells was more about making supply chain diversification but they're still making both of them…so probably not for the reasons I thought.

Maybe more people than I expected are willing to pay more for the 8.0's but don't want the 12.0 size

Does this come with a charger? It doesn't show it or mention it.

Which wen tracks did you buy? I see 100 inch on Home Depot, but not 110.

Absolutely a great deal on a great saw if you need batteries. Picked this up last time this deal was available a month ago. Only had one M18 5.0 battery as most of my tools are M12. Needed this for a project to was perfect time. Grabbed this WEN 110 tracks which were also great. https://a.co/d/4df7rLD

I have a Bosch jobsite tablesaw but I needed to cut some 4x8 sheets so after doing my research on the different brands of track saws I decided to grab one of these last month when they had this same deal and I could not be more satisfied with how it performed. I bought the 110" two-piece Wen tracks that a poster in the last thread recommended and a 2pk of cheap quick release track clamps and they were solid, no complaints. Out of the box the saw was properly calibrated at all the positive stops which is a nice bonus (I spent like 2.5 hours dialing in the aforementioned Bosch tablesaw out of the box) The cuts are perfect every time, no burning, no splintering, no kickback. It had plenty of power to cut 3 sheets at once at a reasonable speed without bogging down. I even (begrudgingly) handed over my new toy to a somewhat inexperienced helper and with a quick demo, explanation and a cut list they came back with a perfect stack of panels (and all their fingers). I even cut some 1/4" acrylic sheets with no melting or cracking.

I highly recommend this saw if you're thinking about getting it.
