The "alternator charger," which is no more than a DC-DC converter, is worth no more than $150 on its own, regardless of how extortionate a "list price" is.
Who gave thumbs up to this post?? Bots? lol

If you are willing to spend another $450, you can get an extra battery and alternator from Costco next.
So a total of 4096/$1400($1500-$100 alternator)~ around 0.34/0.35. See I only -$100 for alternator.

Yeah, that's a better deal and typically isn't a limited time thing. And ultimately unless you are fulltime van life-ing it or camping a lot the DC-DC converter doesn't get heavy use anyway
😂that deal is a limited-time offer only. I can't find any better deal around 4096wh for $1400. The eco-flow Delta Pro supports 240v and 3000ish wh but weighs around 100 lbs. I'm looking for an easy weight lifting for aged women to carry around for backup electricity. The setup is only temporary but can be transferred to a permanent setup later. The only way I can think of is to buy Ecoflow Delta Max with a battery, each weighing around 50 lbs. I can use the battery for the fridge to save some money, and I can add the battery to the whole house setup later when I have a bigger battery.
I heard something or somewhere say that you can't charge the Eco Flow with any random generator. The Eco Flow requires a sine wave gas generator. Don't ask me if it's a real story. Now, I have a similar setup to yours. The only difference is that I want to use it to provide electricity for the fridge to save some money. I'm considering using solar panels to charge the thing and bringing it for the washer, too. I planned to buy the battery for the EG4 air conditioner, but it looks like I need a whole house battery to run all night long.
Maybe some very cheaply made Chinese junk will be a modified sine wave and wont work, but most generators are going to be pure sine wave and the ecoflow won't be able to tell that it's from a generator. If you have trouble getting it to charge you could probably turn off eco/idle mode on the gen, then plug it into the ecoflow, then wait for it to get to full charging power then put eco mode if you want it back on... if you have space for solar then that's great. right now I am in an hoa, no solar allowed, heh. and we finally reached the point where buying lifepo4 packs are actually worth it. with good coupons on temu I can get the 12v 100ah packs for $60 or less.
when I lived in CT and we lost power for weeks after tornadoes, I was able to cool the entire house with 2 mini split systems (4000sf+ house), using a generator. mini splits are like 500w-1000w per ton while running. also depends on what fan speed you set it to, low speed will likely be 200w or so. I definitely recommend a mini split vs any other type of air conditioning unit. actually the midea u window unit is good too, it's technically a mini split as well...

I'm setting this up for Mom before I leave her alone in this small town. I only live here for about five years. I don't see any power outages so far. A power cut-off for one to two seconds happened from time to time. Therefore, I install many surge
protectors where I plug things in. Well, I still have a year in here with Mom anyway. I only began to collect restitution from a fraud contractor this month. The case is not over yet. We can't hire a new contractor to finish what's left on an unfinished patio. What can I say? The law goes too easy on these types of people.
The best deal for the D2M is $700 at ebay for reconditioned with full 5 year factory warranty. I paid $200 for the Ecoflow Alternator Charger.
Definitely a good price for refurb, but this is new and you get ecocredits for not much more
