I don't recommend yamaha. There is lot of distortion with inbuilt subwoofer. And also it misses high frequency sounds and noticeable while playing music. If you buy yamaha then get wired subwoofer.

Any given day Bose. It has best overall sound quality. But you need external subwoofer for bose

I've been using the Yamaha about a week now, and I think it sounds fantastic with surprising amounts of bass. Absolutely worth the $50. Came with the remote, and an optical audio cable as well.

On paper the JBL and Yamaha seem similar. I went with the JBL from Walmart so if if isn;t good I can easily return to store.
