My only issue with the Xumo TVs have been their lockout of Plex Private Servers. It's kind of dumb, but I have 2 Xumo TVs and they need additional equipment to stream plex due to the restrictions.
I have the FireTV os version of this TV I purchased on Prime Day for the same price. Some people will complain for what it isn't . . . but for $150, it's a deal for what it is.
Plug in a new Roku and you're fine.
I use an external on any cheap tv because that's just a given

I bought a xumo tv a few months ago and hate it. Its super slow and laggy. It might just be a hardware issue, but i definitely got what i paid for.

I got one of these, it turns itself on randomly. Dolby Vision notifications will randomly pause/blank the screen.

Any one know what protocol it requires to wireless screen mirror Windows 10? I typically use Google Cast (desktop) and would like to automate (platform agnostic so Apple Home, Alexa, Google Home) this in the morning for multiple TVs in multiple rooms if possible

The name Pioneer is the only reason this gets posted. It's a bargain bin set, nothing more. This isn't anything close to what people use to expect from a Pioneer TV.

Its a 50" TV for $150. Im pretty sure any brand for that gets posted and a a lot of thumbs up. And again its $150, I dont think anyone is expecting top of the line.

I bought this earlier this year and am extremely disappointed in it. Maybe I got a bad unit because everyone else likes them and I am not a TV snob. It replaced a 2008 vintage Samsung LCD and the Samsung had WAY better picture quality... brighter, more vivid, etc. Then the OS... poor experience but I never connected it to wifi and use a Fire stick. But the Fire stick keeps crashing after several hours of use. And I have to manually unplug it from power to restart it. Perhaps related, the TV will randomly go back to the select input screen on its own. The Fire stick worked fine on my old TV so it makes me think it is the Pioneer. I have updated the firmware manually and also tried various HDMI compatibility settings. I even tried to return to Best Buy at one point but was a few days past the 30 day cutoff.
