I wonder if this would give me better center vocals than my PA CSI A6.

One thing to look for in a center is horizontal dispersion to ensure that channel doesn't have any 'nulls' that make it hard to hear for certain viewers (as the primary speaker for voices/speech).

I'm not sure how this RP 504c II performs for the above (there's probably an analysis out there somewhere), but I do like their bookshelf RP-600M IIs as desktop speakers. Paired, with a sub, they'd make a great 2.1.1 setup. Those, or some of the gigantic RP 8000F IIs.
I don't know I'd want a center *this* big though. 32" W x 15" deep - that's most of a whole typical entertainment center top. I guess you just treat the speaker as the new top with some plants or something?

The horizontal dispersion is not very good for this speaker, and a reason why I haven't pulled the trigger on this. Adorama's return policy requires you to cover shipping costs, so testing it out isn't as easy.

Good deal but better off getting a 3 way design for a center like the svs prime which is the same price on sale. Dialogue (which is mostly what the center does) will be much clearer. However the 600/500m ii are excellent bookshelfs. I just wouldn't get a klipsch again for my center

This is 2.5-way, and not 3-way, if that matters to you.

Also have this and paid a similar price for it and it's wonderful. You won't be disappointed.

Isn't the issue with smaller centers like the SVS is dialogue and video game sound effects like shooting games, now are point sourced to the very center instead of being a wider soundstage?

not my experience at all i much prefer my svs center over my old klipsch rp center. everything is much clearer. the whole point of 3 way designs is better horizontal dispersion which this has. here's a good video from erin explaining the differences and why the 4 mid/woofer design on these klipsch is not recommended (skip to 28 min if u dont want to watch the whole thing): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G...Bw&t=1740s
