I did not see the 20% off coupon but I believe it's because I've used that coupon for other friskies products in the past. It's still a good price per ounce without the 20% off.

Yep. I have used mine recently as well, so not available again yet in my account.
Of note:
Tried Wife's account and got the 20% but not the additional $3.45 offer.
Tried business account and got only the $3.45, not the 20%.

Amazon can be a fickle mistress.

Thx op, tu and repped. Following the steps worked to the price of $9.69 then tax made it $10.68.
I wouldn't feed middle aged to older cats this routinely due to kidney issues can become an problem as they age, same as with humans.

Is this a comment on wet food in general or this specific brand? I'm googling and don't see much other than the phosphorus content is high with Friskies. Just wondering what you'd recommend if there's any science out there… I have a 16 year old that's been eating this her whole life, but eats dry food in the morning.

My 2 are 15 and the other is about 12 or so. Guessing cause they were both ferals when they FOUND our home to come to. I've had cats forever and found out the best food for cats to use to avoid diabetes and kidney issues was/is Fancy Feast. So far so good on both their kidney panels over the years. Come to think of it the 2nd feral did have urinary issues when she came, in that she had trouble going a full amount and was having to go frequently and small amounts. (Which in male cats kills them due to obstruction from the crystals blocking their urethea.) She's been fine on the FF food. They both eat dry crumbles we have down all the time one is the : https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00S53D...=UTF8&th=1
One of the sites' newsletters I follow is cats.com. One thing also to be aware of is that pet food brands are known for changing up ingredients without telling the world. Also check the source of where the pet food is made and coming from. In the all in all, cheaper pet foods can cause more issue, same as ppl. Garbage in, garbage out etc. Best bet is to research whatever foods you use and keep up with recalls as well as ingredients and sources. All these variables can/may change at times. Also I forgot to add even the different styles of the same cat food have differing counts of %'s of ingredients. Meaning shreds vs pate vs gravy styled etc.

Thanks for the detailed reply, I also feed my girl Hills for dry food. I'll look into Fancy Feast also.

You're welcome. I used to feed Friskies styles long ago, but that was before pet foods started being recalled due to tainting of the foods, dogs and cats about 20 years ago, starting with the dog treats being poisoned by China, and dogs dying. Look it up, so sad. Sad too, we have to keep on top of all the ingredient changes in ingredient amounts added in some and others decreased in amounts. Btw, China also poisoned baby formula, so not only innocent animals were killed. The best thing for us all is to research and compare what you receive. Lastly, I'll leave you with this tidbit. I think it was something like 94% of our medicine ingredients are/were from China and some from India, and that was discovered back at the start of Covid, when ppl couldn't get their meds because of backlogs in shipping, remember the PPE shortage then too, China was hoarding them. and when they did ship the PPE were defective and tore apart when drs, etc put the gowns or masks on and gloves., etc., and of course, defects have been found in our meds throughout the years. That is why it is so important to pay attention to any side effects from medication, even those you routinely have taken for years. Same games and more get played all the time. Pet meds are, too, would be my assumption. I am a lifelong nurse and pay attention to these things. Take care of you AND your pets!
