While the price is the lowest ever for this 3 pack, its still really pricey for what it is and what it offers. Its only very marginally better than a DECO BE65 PRO, does not have a full array of 2.5Gbps ports just 2 which is kind of ridiculous at this price point. Its about $30 more expensive when the DECO is not on sale for around $500. For that extra money you do get included security and also as stated 12 months NordVPN which is one of the VPN solutions. Unfortunately what you also get is a lot of reports of buggy firmware with this set. Asus is good with patching and fixing software issues so I am sure the bugs will get worked out eventually, most wifi 7 sets are still pretty buggy, thats what happens when your on the cutting edge of tech and an early adopter.

Asus wifi7/MLO is a disaster. Keeps dropping Ethernet/WiFi clients on mine from every 30-minute. Even restored firmwares & software updated but no change. Their old tech was good but new is just trash.

That's what I'm thinking, not sure why these mesh systems are so popular.

For the experts here, I have two 10gig networks that is very difficult for me to connect with wire. Been thinking about asus bq16 to connect them wireless. But as everyone states it's expensive bq16 is even more costly than this at $950 for two units. Any other suggestions at this or lower price point?

I have the 2-pack of this and yes the firmware is extremely buggy. I have found it works great as an AP so I'm still using my old Asus router as well but I disabled the WiFi radios on it.
Still waiting for better firmware; last update was over a month ago and it's still trash. I couldn't get more than 60mbps upload in router mode with gigabit ISP and wired client. But in AP mode I get full speed.

Because what they do can be rather incredible when they work properly. Especially if you have a larger house. Or a small business. Wandering around a large space and you have internet everywhere at high speed. It's sort of the dream. I have it in my house and it works really really well. I've hardwired mine together so there's no degradation.

I guess if you live in a 8,850 SQ FT house, you can afford these.
