These work great! Just make sure you crack open the vent with an Allen key when refilling. Once it starts spitting out liquid propane, you're close to full! Watch a youtube video on how to refill these!

Nearly impossible to get during COVID, and double the cost if you did. It's like everyone suddenly left home at went camping.

Just refill the "non refillable" one and save the cash for propane! Been doing it for years and never had an issue.

Good price for these. Went on sale in the past year for a low of $32.

They did and now they're all back on cruises and flights. So now I'm hiding all the overstock/clearance camping stuff I'm getting from the wife. Crazy good deals right now.

I like Fuel Keg better (smaller legs and without the Allen key), but for this price, the Flame King ones will do.

I don't understand why this is a good deal? In order to refill it from your BBQ cylinder you will need to use a refill adapter, not included but available with the Flame King refill kit. You can just buy cans from the store and the kit also sold at stores.

"The program (REI) works like this: A customer buys a refillable propane canister for $21.95. When empty, the customer can trade it in for a full one for $11.95."

What's the difference with these versus the regular canisters that everyone refills anyways?

These are certified to be refillable. I've been refilling the disposable ones for years, but I always felt a little uncomfortable given they aren't "supposed" to be refilled. So these will provide me a bit of peace of mind.

Plus no need to freeze these before 'filling'...room temp I could never get an old can to fill more than about half. Frozen wasn't much better. These fill.

This is one of the dumbest deals I've seen in a long time. You know how many FILLED containers you can buy for this price? And then guess what... they can also be refilled! These have the bleed valve to let you fill more but it's not going to change that much.

It's not illegal to refill the other canisters, but they're not DOT approved to be transported after being refilled. They ALL have safety valves, however, that will gas off if they're overfilled.

Don't waste a penny on these. Really, it's a terribly dumb product for people who don't have time to do their own research.

I can overfill when mine are frozen, but I'm using a deep freeze and let the filler tank sit in the sun a bit
