The average rating is 2.X stars and nearly all the 1 star reviews are for leaks. When they show pictures of QC issues with gaps in the seams, it's most likely a mfr QC issue rather than a setup issue. The design of the adverse Coleman brand rain fly guarantees exposure of the tent body to wind and rain. It's not hard to imagine Coleman screwed up and the reviews are accurate.
Coleman isn't what they used to be and they're riding their former reputation. They turned into a Walmart-tier brand and it's kind of sad. I've returned 2 of their tents and 2 of their coolers over the last few years. Better quality options exist for a similar price when they're on sale. I prefer to buy something that will last and this rent doesn't appear to fit that description.
Like I said, generally you can disregard leak complaints. Where are these reviews?

When the rain fly is the equivalent of a thong bikini, one can't disregard reviews with pictures showing it leaking from all sides. That rain fly is a joke 🤣

Yeah, those are just standard reviews you will find on any tent. Besides the one showing holes, I can tell just from the pics that these users did not use the guy lines or did not use them properly as the tent is not pitched tightly enough. Pitching a tent tightly using the guy lines is the best way to keep water out, as it allows it to roll off, and it keeps the rain fly from touching the outer walls keeping condensation from getting in and rolling down.
These are mostly user issues. I would buy this if it was a little cheaper (this isn't that great a deal even if it was 5 stars).
I tent camp a minimum of 30 nights per year. I even recommend Ozark trail if the price is right.
It has 3.0 stars exactly btw. Not that it makes a difference. But you will find similar type reviews on basically all tents, even super expensive ones with 6 inch thick rain flys. Almost always user issues.
In fact, my current tent is an Ozark Trail instant tent. I have had many many Coleman's and many Ozark Trail tents, with a few more expensive ones mixed in over the years. Nowadays I buy whatever the best slick deal is when it comes time to replace them.
