Use this calculator to price by square feet or sheet dimensions.

https://www.redflagdeals.com/toil...comparison

One star for Costco's price and three stars for Amazon's.

I use this calculator when going by number of sheets (yes you start off by entering the full price on this one):

https://tetrion.com/tpcalc.php

It factors in the number of sheets per roll. The Charmin I am seeing at Costco is 213 sheets/roll for ultra soft and 220 sheets/roll for ultra strong. When I input the info into the calculator it gets an F from Costco.

Can see that calculation here:

https://tetrion.com/tpcalc.php?r=...0&c2=6&q=0

When inputting the sheets per roll from this deal along with the rebates etc. it shows an A.

Can see that calculation here:

https://tetrion.com/tpcalc.php?r=...2=52.6&q=0

This was my calculation for the ultra soft at Amazon. I just put in the overall rebates ($20 + $15) + coupons (s&s and 10% off one seen on invoice - $17.60), for a grand total of $52.60 in rebates and coupons.

It's definitely a hassle between the sizing games that are played and with the rebates and hoping all goes well with receiving the Amazon credit and the correct P&G rebate. I've submitted them before and have gotten $5 when it should have been $15 so it's definitely a gamble.
Is it a better value to buy at costco? 28$ for 30 "jumbo" rn. Basically 1:1 cost if u factor in amz 20$ credit.

This sizing/naming bs is way more confusing than it should be 🤬
Thanks for all of your work here.
I think the sheet size differs between Costco and other outlets so that skews the calculation a bit. I've always calculated the total square feet for comparison instead of sheet count. I'm thinking that's what Tofu Vic recommended years ago.
Is that a valid idea?

Wasn't successful in getting the $20 Amazon.com credit. No confirmation note regarding that, even after manually inputting the PGSTOCKUP promo code. Canceled the order ... didn't want to go through the hassle of calling Customer Service to give me the $20 Amazon credit.

So is this a good deal or not? Can some experts calculate cost per sheet?
smart buyers dont buy toilet paper based on cost per sheet. you weight it. the heavier the roll the better.

the opposite is laudry detergent. you look at the loads instead of weight. buying 100 oz tide laundry designed for 50 loads vs 75 oz for 50 loads.

coupon works on both - clip then individually from each item, add one each to cart. clip the 20 $ off. at checkout change both to S&S

total should be 87.98, -$4.40, -$4.40, -$4.40, +tax (-$15 from rebate, -$20 from credit)

also get 3$ digital reward.

*** nevermind - it looks like it takes away your 15% s&s if you go through this route. Not sure if it applies retroactively so this might not work.

Me either, not worth it to risk - the Cs reps will not honor.

Even that's 2010. Electronic transfers to bank account or Paypal/Venmo/etc., would cost them far less.

I just got the $20 credit email from amazon after they shipped the items. As long as you saw $20 credit words before checking out, you will be fine, I can not find any where in the receipt mentioned the credit, but it worked.

Have you guys ever received your P&G credit like ever??? Or they just hate me in particular?
I have submitted it twice without any issues and never received it. I am sure some people do receive it. At least their advertisement and submission process is air tight to promote sales Big Grin There is a reason people think MIR = Scam. They might receive 100,000 MIR submissions and they send it out to a few hundred or thousand.
