Took em long enough to add the 2nd 2.5ghz. I'll wait for prices to drop a smidge but this will prob be a winner for my home setup

Here's the review from Dong (who is one of the most trusted Wifi reviewers out there):
https://dongknows.com/asus-zenwifi-bt8-review/

TLDR: He likes it. Recommends it at the original $900 price. It's basically the BT10 without the 10gbps LAN ports and a little less bandwidth on the 5ghz channel

Depends on your comparison. It has potential to vastly outsell sets in its class.

Honestly, if you're looking at this price point, you should just get a Unifi setup. I paid a similar price for the XT8s when they came out, all with wired backhauls, and my internet kept choking up. Turned out that my smart cameras and lights were causing packet drops (total of 45 devices). I paid less than this for a Unifi gateway + 2 APs and now have over a 100 devices with zero stablity issues.

What gateway and APs did you go with? I currently have a Deco 6E setup and suspect my smart home stuff is crushing it.
