I used the Legrand 9" also, without the faceplate surround so it would be flush with the drywall.
Mine came with the SG10TY, and I was planning to connect it wirelessly with WOWCAST but I found there were constant hiccups/drops even just playing YouTube music, so I ended up just fishing an HDMI cable down through the Legrand and the wall for eARC.
This TV is incredible. I just watched The Thing (1982) tonight on 4k UHD and I'm sure my mouth was open in amazement for most of the movie.
I was in the same boat, was going to get the C4. But after adding a decent sound bar and wall mount, the price of the C4 would have came pretty close to this deal. Ended up pulling the trigger on this G4 deal
I went with this over the C4 just to get a little more future proofing with more capable hardware, the brighter MLA oled, and better performance/brightness for gaming. I also debated against the Samsung S95D but most reviews said that LG and Dolby support are better. I've had a 65" LG C8 since 2019 and haven't had any issues with it.

This is the mount that's included: https://www.lg.com/us/tv-home-the...wall-mount
I've heard from others that it's the same mount from the past few years and is compatible with some earlier models but maybe not that far back.
The power cord that comes attached with the TV is not rated for behind the wall. Hence one would plug the TV power cord to a power supply in the recessed box. I dont have a power supply at The location where my recessed Legrand box will be installed , so I will source power from a nearest power source using DIY relocation kit. The Legrand power relocation kit comes with top and bottom enclosures. I will be discarding the top enclosures since I am already using the legrand box, but will use the power supply, the wiring and the bottom pass throughs from the relocation kit. It is expensive buying an eclosure and also the kit total 150$ but I have received quotes of 800-1000$ to get this work done by pros.
The recessed wider areas at the back of this TV are at different locations for 65 inch (at center) and on the left (left if you are watching the TV from front) for 77 inch or greater.
If you are ordering 65inch or less you can use this video which shows centered media enclosure https://youtu.be/mI3Q4BNIJvM. if you are 77 inch or greater one would locate this box towards the bottom right back of the TV where HDMI cables come out same as left bottom when you watching the TV from front. I hope this helps. Took a lot of time to figure this out.
It's most noticeable in a bright room, but in normal use, especially at night, they're not that different. Brightness is pretty much the main difference. Processing is slightly better. HDR pops a tiny bit more. If money is tight get the C4. If it's a bright room often and/or u want a super flush wall mount get the G4.

Is this the enclosure kit that you used?

Do you think that the Legrand is superior to other brands or does it have some features that others don't have?
And this is the power relocation kit?
