Don't forget to add Hexyl Ethoxylate, Sodium Xylenesulfonate, Lauryl Glucoside, and a buffering agent to maintain the pH. Otherwise you just have diluted dish soap.
Yes that works, I just googled a recipe for it. Of course the original stuff works a bit better but I'm satisfied with my refill method. My 1st pump lasted 2 years so last time it was on sale I got a new bottle.

I use this for work related. Cost of doing business. It gets me done a lot faster and I just add to the bill, going through a couple bottles to a cases for pre-cleaning prior to doing machine repairs. For this current price and and the number of things I use it for, yes the price is right. Does it work faster on everything? No. A lot of times I have no idea what the grime or film is. Works great on organic and great on wet or sticky oils. Works great on clothes freshly spattered with oils. Sometimes I run across wet/sticky glue type substances which requires Goop instead. If you have black burnt pots and pans, you've turned it to carbon. Whole other animal.

It's not the same thing there are more ingredients which cut the grease. Otherwise it's just diluted dish soap that foams a little
