Just food for thought. This is a Chinese knockoff of the Japanese one. It does not bend well, and the blade is so loose that it wobbles in the handle. But if you are after cheap and Japanese inspired, then this would be it.
You literally have Google at your fingertips. All you have to do is highlight SUIZAN Flush Cut Saw 6", click "search" and you have your answer - it's literally the first hit. All in less time than it took you to draft and post your question. I get it that SD is a great information resource, but have we really gotten so lazy that we expect other people to do basic internet searches for us?

Is this the same thing for half the price?

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7CK4...V9kZXRhaWw

I know it's a different brand but I don't know much about these saws and they seem to be the same except for the brand.

Additionally, the actual Japanese (made in Japan) flush cut saw SUIZAN Flush Cut Saw 6" is about $10 more. I know it is effectively double the price, but may be worth it for many.

I have this saw and other Japanese flush-cut saws. This one is a thicker blade. It isn't my go to for most flush cutting but there are times I reach for it because of the thickness of the blade. It is sharp and holds its edge as well as the next one. It's a good addition to a the toolbox/shop, especially at this price point.

I did just that, and saw several versions with similar description…none of which is all that close to just $10 more. Thanks for being a d$ck though - super helpful
