I bought this during the 10 pack deal. 1. The expiration date was only 3 months out. 2. Old El Paso has a very bland taste compared to Ortega or Taco Bell (we started not liking taco night). If you prefer the taste of Ortega/Taco Bell brands, you may want to steer clear of this.

Agreed. The taco bell packets are on a different level. The Aldi lower salt version are only like 50 cents per but actually have a nice spice level to them.

Chi Chi's Fiesta Restaurante Seasoning Mix, the green package (not the red package) has been all over the place on Amazon as well. A little over a week ago the Chi Chi's seasoning was $15.88 a 24 pack and today it is $28.10. It is really good and my favorite for ground taco meat.
