Would not recommend for emulation, since the best part of emulation on PC is rendering at high resolution which requires more GPU power
Wiiu at 4k for example is eye candy on my 4070
From what I have seen online, those issues have been resolved but, IMO, it does not matter. I would not want to purchase it and find out in a few months that it was discovered again. Embedded malware is inexcusable and permanently kills the brand when there are many other mini PC brands offering similar specs for similar prices.

Valid question and concerns, you shouldn't purchase, nobody should. It's irresponsible to promote the brand when they're known to be dubious.
The repetitive complaint about them being a "POS company" and malware is getting boring, old, and redundant now. A series of their desktops had that issue, and the people were right to call them out for it. However, what's not right is painting all their products with that same brush. Every manufacturer has some issues with their products now and then; Lenovo with their hinges, esp on their previous IdeaPad Flex lineup, ASUS fiasco, and malware with Ace Magic here, and so on. However, all these problems were old and have then been fixed, but people like you, or certain others, feel the need to comment the same thing on every thread.
Ace Magic included a script that wasn't fully compliant with Windows standards, which led to such "malware" detections. However, after being whitelisted, Windows Defender now confirms that there are no issues.
The only hole they fill in the market is for people who want a cheap computer and don't mind rolling the dice with their account security and also don't mind replacing the whole system when it eventually burns itself out, like the AceMagic AD08 I have in right now with an i9 that burned out its mobo just idling one day after less than a year of use. So it's weird to see people defending them so emotionally.
