Creality has some coupon codes [creality.com] for the new Otter Lite and the Ferret 3D scanners. The Otter Lite is $694 with code OTL05 and the entry-level Ferret is $189 with code FERRET10, the Ferret Pro (which adds WiFi) is $289 with the same code.

The Otter Lite has built-in Wi-Fi 6, 0.05mm accuracy (about 0.002 inches), and up to 30fps scanning speed, it can capture objects from 20mm (0.8 in) to 2 meters (about 6.5 feet).
From my experience using the original Otter (which does not come with Wi-Fi out of the box, not the new Otter Lite) and the Ferret, while both work, the Otter is much more fun to use because of the larger single capture range and better tracking, so it scans quicker, also it works well with smaller objects.
The Otter Lite and Ferret Pro also work with iOS and Android phones, the non-pro Ferret only works with Android phones.

Otter Lite specs:
  • Up to 0.05mm accuracy (about 0.002 inches)
  • Scans objects from 20mm (0.8 in) to 2 meters (about 6.5 ft)
  • Built-in Wi-Fi 6 for wireless scanning and real-time mobile preview
  • 24-bit full-color RGB camera with LEDs for low-light scanning
  • Can scan black and metal objects without scan spray
  • 3400mAh battery, 3h battery runtime
  • Marker mode with 8 infrared LEDs
  • Face and body scan mode with eye-safe near-infrared light
