Watch out with the whole lifetime warranty registration thing. I had registered mine and then all the tools I had showing on the LFA website just disappeared. I emailed them and they ASSURED me they are still registered, but when it comes time to actually make a claim, who knows what will happen. The fact that you have to jump through the hoops just to get the "lifetime" warranty in the first place makes me wonder if it's basically a scam

You got down voted, but you're right. Ridgid is notorious for this. Just go look at their BBB page. On paper the LSA sounds good, but have fun fighting them if you ever have to use it.

Yeah I thought it was worth mentioning my experience with Ridgid, and reading BBB reviews after seeing CoreyR's comment, it seems I am not alone in my experience.

Buy it if you think it's a good value for the product, but don't think it's a given that you'll get free replacement batteries or tools for life. That way you won't end up disappointed

FWIW- I've used Ridgid's warranty twice, and both times it was very easy. Once my 10 year old drill started suttering. They sent me labels, I boxed up the drill and dropped it off at FedEx. A week later it was on my doorstep, repaired. The next time, the digital inflator stopped working. They sent me a new one without having me send the broken one back. Not trying to influence anyone's decision here, just letting you know my personal experiences.

I had an issue about 1yr ago with a Ridgid inflator on LSA. They sent me a replacement pretty quick.
