Lots of good choices here. I grabbed For All Mankind, Modern Times ($10), Paris, Texas, Speedy ($10), Vampyr ($10), Speedy ($10), and The Circus ($10). I already own some of these on blu, but I love the convenience of streaming.

I'm looking at some others as well, and may grab the 39 Steps and Carnival of Souls later. And probably some more, since Criterion doesn't seem to have digital sales too frequently.

How long will this sale last? Too many rare movies to choose from, I don't have the time now to comb through them all.

Usually their sales last a week (Tuesday though Monday). There are shorter and longer sales, but those are usually indicated in the title (ie Summer of Savings, Weekend Sale, May the 4th Sale, etc)

Definitely some good stuff there for $5 and 1 for $10 that caught my eye.

At this price, isn't this worth buying all of them?! I'm afraid they will, at some point, revoke the license and we'll lose them.

How can they revoke the license once you've completed the purchase? And do you get your money back if that happens?

You're unlikely to get your money back if they revoke it. They are likely legally allowed by your acceptance of their terms of service to revoke it.

Examples of that can be if they loose the right/license to continue to stream it, or if they go out of business.

Criterion is known for excellent remasters of classic movies, but streaming?

Is it better quality?

At $10, it's too much, but for $5. I'll give some a whirl.

Persona for only five dollars nearly broke my brain. It's not for everyone, but it's one of the most influential and most ripped off movies of all time.

It is in their Terms of Service, specifically, "Fandango at Home Policy", attached.

Also, "...NO RIGHT TO REFUNDS..."

"If buying isn't owning, then pirating isn't stealing" is what some other people say... Mad

This is why people still prefer to buy the actual media. But, using Vudu is so much more convenient!!
