Stevia.....I should know better but at this price I'll give it a go. Been big fan of liquid IV but only the two with no stevia. I guess I can always dilute if it's a problem. Thumbed and repped

It doesn't agree with my gut health. This has far less than the cold brew coffee that wrecked me for a week until I figured it out, a 6 pack slick deal about a year ago.

Mix salt with Morton's low sodium salt which is just a mix of sodium, magnesium, and potassium in a glass of water. Same thing that costs practically nothing.

Got it for a similar price a few weeks ago. Didn't really like the taste—Gatorade's way better. Honestly, the best one is homemade: fresh lime + monk fruit sweetener + a pinch of rock salt

Came across this while looking for electrolyte powders earlier, and ended up going with DripDrop instead

I regret buying this during the last front page. Taste is pretty awful and I'm usually good with that sort of thing. People also say this doesn't really have much substance to it nutrition wise.

The uptick in electrolyte mixes being sold is a bit scammy. A basic mix most people would be better off with is just mixing sugar or fruit concentrate, a decent salt, water, and true lime (or similar). You can even prep sugar, salt, and true lime or true lemon as a large batch to use like some of these mixes. I do that sometimes, but if you are occasionally lazy (like me), good ol' gatorade powder is still pretty solid. I use the gatorade endurance mix for cardio going over one hour, but you can make your own mix of those ingredients for cheap too.

Research on stevia has been mixed. It looks like there is potential to impact your gut microbiome, but recent research has put that in question. What is not inconclusive is that it produces GI issues for many people for whatever reason. If value can be extrapolated from tests on rats, those that are administered stevia (in sizeable batches) become obese at a higher rate than the control population. I've seen many just recommend sticking with monk fruit extract, as it is generally better tolerated and has a more palatable taste. YMMV. My goal is not to avoid sugar, just to consume less when I'm not using it for athletic purposes.

I think morton's lite is only sodium and potassium? I've been looking for a good magnesium powder to mix it all together with a small scoop of lemonade mix for DIY.
