I have one of the photo versions of this printer with 6 colors for a couple years and it's worked great. I don't print a huge amount so still on original inks and no issues at all.

got one in my office and its the most inconsistent printer I've ever had. those connectivity issues is just something else. i don't recommend it to anyone.
