edit: the TV & Soundbar working together is called "Q-Symphony". from the product photos, that's there I see 5 distinct speakers: TV L, TV R, & Sound Bar L, C, R (plus .1 sub).
specs do claim "Number of Speakers 6" though so, I assume the bar itself must have 5 speakers

all marketing to get uneducated consumers. No use of all speakers in the front. Thats the entire point of surround and multi channel.
Then they have the audacity to say the sound BOUNCES due to its technology so you hear it from the rear. BS!!!!! lol
If its only 1 bar and a sub, I rather get a quality 2.1 or 3.1 sound bar
I prefer a 5 speaker or more setup, but I'm ok with the sound bars IF they have little satellite speakers along with them. Even in small rooms you should have 2 little speakers on each side of you. If your setup doesn't make you literally turn your head and say "what was that??", then you have the wrong setup. You never get that feeling when the sound is coming from in front of you. Even the cheap Vizio or HiSense sound bars with 2 satellite speakers can send signals to the side speakers to really make you feel "surrounded".
I know Samsung is fantastic when it comes to sound, and this is a great deal for that, but to answer Sarcasmogratis's question, generally the soundbar replaces the TV speakers, and doesn't work with them. If you have the TV on too, they'll fight one another and be slightly off. Like watching live sports on your phone and computer at the same time. All 5 of the speakers in this sound bar are coming from the soundbar. ^^^^^
