I'm sure it's been mentioned and buried but extended warranty benefit goes away next month which sucks
Uhh yeah I have an Amex, this is not true lol
I'm sure citi fought hard in the bidding process to beat Amex to get the Costco account. Part of the terms were probably to offer better benefits for the customer....

I was thinking the same thing. I'm planning to make a return at Costco tonight, which was purchased on my AmEx. I may ask if they can just give me a Costco cash card, which I'll use immediately after for my shopping.
Mine posted today. Took about 48 hours.
They also offered me cash or a cash card but I chose to put it on the new card for simplicity.
same here, did a car battery warranty return at costco for a battery i bought end of 2014 on the amex. credit posted on the same day (26th) on the citi.
I'm still waiting on my card...
I got an approval notice today (7/1) which was dated 6/23 that says if I don't receive my card by June 30 to call them.
I'm kinda pissed at Citi right now. Not able to use my card. Even though the website says my card is registered and activated. Customer service told me they never received the form I was supposed to sign and send back. Told him I never received any forms or letter. He checked and found out the letter was returned unopened. Now I'm waiting on the letter to show up, that was 4 days ago.

I don't recall any form needed for all 3 of my Citi: two were activated online and one by phone.
EDIT: one activated online (active one) and two by phone (non-active ones) using the same home phone number.
Man, I work in the banking industry & know that transfer of servicing NEVER go smoothly but this AMEX to Citi transfer is still a colossal mess.
I partly blame it on Costco for not forcing more of a lead time for the prep of transfer & delivery on both servicers.
Obviously AMEX had 16 years to perfect their Costco customer relationship handling but you'd figure in the 21st century - things like website interface, statement archival & retrieval & payment handling would be more advanced & almost perfected.
In those regards: the Citi site has barely any payment info for me to do any serious home finance recons whereas the Amex site was full of vendor info for me to use as data research points.
Re: statements - my last month's billing statement was not available to be retrieved in PDF -wut what?? So I had to do my monthly recon off the onscreen barely there transactions download.
Re: Payments - could not make more than 1 payment from 1 bank account until funds have cleared pending status -which takes 2 days. AMEX allowed me to make multiple payments from any bank accounts up to 11.59 midnight same day credit. Cutoff time for same day credit for Citi is 8PM.
Needless to say I am already telling my wife the Costco Citi cash back % aren't worth the headaches & we will be limiting our purchases using this card to only Costco gas & Costco purchases.
Otherwise, we'll use our other cashback cards to handle restaurants & monthly bills.

I noticed you specified Costco gas. Are the rewards not for all gas stations?
As per my previous post, do you recall having to sign and send in any forms in order to use the Citi Costco card?

It depends on card issuers. AmEx has a top notch web interface, and while you may think Citi's is bad, there are worse out there. At least Citi shows you charge categories--I have another Visa card and they don't even do that. Nor do they credit bonus points right away--every bonus point offer comes with a "may take 1 to 2 billing cycles for bonus points to post" disclaimer and it's very inconsistent.

Wasn't there communication from AmEx saying that you'd lose access to your card or account (if this was your only AmEx) the day the switch happened?

Now isn't that an interesting fact to hear. Guess I'll be contacting again.
