I think this is a great deal! It has built in GPS, no external antenna needed. Wifi and 4K resolution. It will take a 512Gb memory card. It has been $120 for quite some time. The refurbished units are $69.99, so for an extra 7 bucks you get a brand new one. It has the 8 mega Pixel lens, same as their $235 4k pro dash cam.

Amazon has this as a Limited time deal, it is not a lightning deal. So I don't know when it will expire. These are shipped from Amazon and sold by Rove Dash Cam. I ordered mine yesterday and arrived by 10am. It was brand new sealed in the original packaging.

I live in Phoenix, and I still bought it because all of the other features outway that detail. On those 120 degree days, I'll take it inside if I need to.
For $8.00 you can get an extended 3 year warranty.

On the Rove web site, this same camera is listed as $199.99 $119.99.
They have a 1 year warranty. I sent an email to tech support and received several responses the very next morning. So far, all positive.

Definitely not a good cam at all if it uses batteries instead of capacitors.

batteries = manufacturer cutting costs for more profits for them. You've been warned.

24fps is just about the lowest setting I would like to see for such a device. Still very usable but if you've got someone moving really fast across lanes it may not pick up the tag which is kinda the whole point of 4k. Also said before but will mention again battery not capacitor so a no go for FL heat.

I had this saved in my cart and was going to purchase last night, when I found out it dropped from $119.99 to $76.49.
This is my first dashcam and the specs seemed pretty good. I especially like the GPS feature. I'm just going to be using it for protection in case of accident, and maybe to have some fun posting travel videos on YouTube. Does anyone own this model? Did I make a good choice? Thanks for any input.

Went for it. I just need something for my drive to work car. Seems like it should be good enough for the job.
