At first I lined the drip pan with aluminum foil and swapped it out every few weeks. Then one time I didn't and now the drip pan is beyond cleanability with charred black. So if you want to keep it looking clean I recommend wrapping it in foil and regularly changing it.

Lastly, the thing gets extremely hot on the outside, especially on the top of the oven. As in, it can be too hot to touch when in use. I accidentally touched it when baking potatoes @ 400F and ... yikes. So I would make sure you have enough clearance above and behind the oven and don't leave anything on top when using it. That being said, I have no regrets buying it. Love the thing.

When my oven goes out, I can certainly see a need for this. I'd probably just put a cart in where the stove in and put this on top. Anyway, I have a good air fryer. My microwave is also installed above the oven, so I have that appliance too.
Thanks!

I wonder if it would be better to get the model just below this that has 11 functions (no proof and no dehydrate)? It seems like the air fryer might be good for larger batches of fries and stuff though. Hmmm.
