Similar price on Lavazza Crema E Aroma Whole Bean Coffee for those without an espresso machine. (Although maybe Super Crema can be used with a french press? I wouldn't know.)

Get yourself an aeropress. It's $40 or $30-$32 on sale, can use 20% discounts at bed bath and beyond usually. That is simply life changing and is a breeze to clean, literally takes seconds. Been using mine daily for 2 years with no issues, no need to do any maintenance like you would with an espresso machine.

Okay, that much I know. I have an Aeropress. But I drink gallons of coffee in the morning so use a french press for that.

What I didn't know and thank you immensely for telling me is that an Aeropress is sort of equivalent of an espresso machine.

Not exactly like an espresso machine. I sometimes use my espresso machine when guests come over but usually don't since I can't control temperature nor extraction times. Espresso and traditional methods for making coffee uses boiling water which tends to extract acid from the beans and I usually have heartburn with that method.

Aeropress is a mix between espresso and traditional coffee methods. I use luke warm water and extend the brewing times to get more of a flavor profile and caffeine minus the acid. Has been working great so far, similar to a cold brew but only takes 5-10 minutes to brew.

Is there any reason not to use the super crema with a drip coffee maker? I assume the coffee will not be as good that way, but at this price might as well get it.

Seems my last two purchases of lavazza brand coffee weigh out at 0.85 kilos including the bag.
Feeling kind of gypped here, is anybody else noticed this with their lavazza and also do I have any recourse with Amazon?
