Not a good printer, not a good price ($250 2 years ago)
Cannon will hound you to replace your ink when it's at 50% capacity.
HUGE ink streaks down the middle of the print. Up to 1 minute delay on wireless prints as well as the app that's supposed to support wireless printing is garbage.
Would not recommend unless it were $150 maybe. Regret purchasing it at $250.

If you are putting ink in a Laser printer, I may have a solution to your problem. 🙄

Definitely NOT as stated above. Mine prints well. Wireless printing is super fast. Prints are sharp.

I'm still on the original toners but toners for laser is always more expensive than inkjet.

Excellent printer. Laser toners are always more expensive than ink cartridges. Depending on your needs if you really need a laser printer.

Yeah that's my number one criteria, third party refills. Does it print reasonably as well with the off brand refills?

From my experience, Canon all in one printer is better than my brother. In terms of software support and stuff.

I've had two Canon MFs and one Brother MF. The brother is so slow to get something printed while the Canon prints right away. Brother is billed as a network printer and has WiFi yet never seems to connect on my home network to phones/laptops. Canon was from before wifi network printer era yet has Ethernet and always seems to be located on network by phones on WiFi and laptops. Brother also goes into "deep sleep" mode and never just turns on when needed, has to always be manually operated thus defeating purpose of home network printer (we're not printing every day at home). My overall vote so far goes to Canon. Just bought the 654 version of color yesterday and excited to use it

Is it worth canceling an order for the MF654CDW that was on sale for $250 over the weekend for this one? As far as I can tell it looks like this one has duplex scanning where the 654 doesn't.
